VALORANT Console Beta is now available in these countries

Only five countries have access to VALORANT Console for now.

The VALORANT Console Beta is now live and allows players to play VALORANT on the latest console devices. For now, VALORANT is available only on the latest consoles, and players experience the game at its optimal performance. Today, Riot Games revealed the countries where VALORANT Console Open Beta will be available on console and it’s limited for now. 

VALORANT Console Open Beta released on July 26 on PS5, Xbox Series S|X. With the open beta, the game became available to anyone with a console (the latest-gen consoles). 

What is the VALORANT Console Beta?

Riot Games is yet to roll out the Console version of the game to the wider public. However, before doing so, they have rolled out the Beta. The Beta version of the game will have limited players. It provides Riot with adequate information and data on how to approach the actual release of the console version.

By definition, players should expect the VALORANT Console Beta to have a few bugs and features that might not make it to the actual release. The VALORANT Console 

Through Limited Beta we now better understand players, where they’re showing up, and where we’re really confident we’ll have healthy queues and matchmaking to deliver an amazing player experience, and we’re going to start from there.

Who can Play VALORANT on Console?

VALORANT on console is available only in a limited number of countries. At present, VALORANT players can only access the game on console if they are from a few countries. Here are the VALORANT Console Open Beta countries:

  • United States.
  • Canada.
  • Europe.
  • Japan.
  • Brazil.

The Console version of the game will come out in other countries over time, however, Riot has also revealed that they might expand to other countries in the future.

Please know that this is subject to change and we will constantly monitor other regions for expansion on console. Riot is a global games company and ultimately, our goal is for all players around the world who want to play VALORANT to be able to play and experience the game at the high-quality bar we set.

Further emphasizing their commitment to becoming a global games publisher, Riot says that they want everyone all around the world to experience VALORANT at its peak performance. 

As of now, we don’t know when VALORANT will be available on console worldwide, however, it is surely one of the most anticipated games on consoles. They are focusing mainly on Gen9 Consoles, which means PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X.
