Who is Giulia “lissa” Lissa, professional VALORANT player for MIBR GC and the star of that viral six-second clip you’ve probably seen?

If you've been active around the VALORANT community lately, chances are you've seen a clip of a professional Game Changers player on your timeline. She is Giulia "lissa" Lissa, currently playing for MIBR GC. Here's everything you need to know about her.

lissa vs Team Liquid

lissa began her professional VALORANT career in 2021, joining various tournaments and GC series within Brazil and the LATAM region. She competed with Gamelanders Purple in the GC Brazil Series for most of 2022, consistently getting decent placements. Their highest finish was 2nd, often due to losses to Team Liquid Brazil.

She would soon be picked up by LOUD, and pick up her first Qualifier win while taking revenge against TL. However, in VCT 2023 Game Changers Brazil Series 2, they would once again buckle against TL.

She would then compete for a couple more teams in the following years: Team Brav Soldier GC and Corinthians Esports GC, before joining MIBR.

lissa lifted her first trophy with MIBR at the VCT 2025: Game Changers Brazil Stage 2, after a 3-1 final against Team Liquid. However, the story would be flipped in the Final Stage, where the five-map series went to TL. This loss denied them a clean shot at the Game Changers Championship 2025, but not all hope was lost just yet.

To claim their spot at the GCC, they had to go through the Last Chance Qualifier. The viral clip that you may have seen on social media was from the Brazilian broadcast of the grand finals of this event. Specifically, the moment was during the lengthy tech pause in overtime of map 3.

This clip of lissa, initially posted by a fellow Brazilian pro player Jenniffer "JanNy" Aysha, circulated within the VALORANT community once the official MIBR account shared it. Other orgs, like Fnatic, and people then quoted the post.

It soon broke containment and entered other communities, like League of Legends and Counter-Strike.
