VCT Bangkok participating teams

There are eight teams participating in the tournament with the teams qualifying for the main event. The teams must earn their place in the main event through various regional kickoff events.

  • Trace Esports (China Kickoff)

  • T1 (Pacific Kickoff)

Tournament format

The tournament has two stages: the Swiss Stage as well as the Playoffs. The Swiss Stage goes through from Feb. 20 to 24 while the playoffs start a day later.

Swiss Stage

  • Eight teams compete in a Swiss system format
  • All matches are best-of-three (Bo3) series

Playoffs

  • Four teams in the playoffs
  • Double-elimination format
  • All matches are Bo3 series
  • Grand Finals are a best-of-five (Bo5) match
