The roadtrip era has arrived in VALORANT, and VCT EMEA is heading to Barcelona for the Stage 2 Grand Finals. The iconic Olímpic Arena will host the region’s top teams as they battle for their place at the VALORANT Champions 2026.
Barcelona sets the stage for VCT EMEA Stage 2
For the first time in the tournament's history, VCT EMEA is leaving Berlin, Germany. The Stage 2 Finals will be moving to Barcelona, Spain. The Olímpic Arena in Badalona is known for hosting many big sports and entertainment events. The arena can hold up to 13,000 fans.
As initially announced, VCT EMEA Stage 2 was set to take place in Madrid. However, Riot had to move the event to Barcelona, keeping the competition in Spain and allowing fans to experience it live. The Stage 2 Finals promise to be "the biggest event on the VCT EMEA calendar, and the culmination of the
VCT EMEA season," Riot Games wrote in the press release.
Fans can expect an exciting lineup of activities and immersive experiences built around the VALORANT community. Only the top four EMEA teams will secure their place at VALORANT Champions 2026, set to take place in Shanghai, China. Riot Games will share more details about the Stage 2 Finals, including on-site experiences and ticketing information, in the coming months.
VCT roadtrips
Other regions will also take their Stage 2 Grand Finals on the road. VCT Americas will head to São Paulo, Brazil, while VCT Pacific travels to Busan, South Korea.
Meanwhile, the China region will host multiple events across different cities throughout the 2026 season. Kickoff took place in Guangzhou, followed by the Stage 1 regular season in Hangzhou and the playoffs in Beijing. Changsha will host the Stage 2 regular season, and Chengdu will host the Playoffs.
