Chanimal also shared his thoughts about the WoW esports tournament in general, emphasizing his excitement about the cross-regional aspect of it.

"I think this is the first time I've ever felt hyped online. Ever," Chanimal said. "Even when we won last year, I was like, 'It just feels like just a random ladder game.' But then facing NA teams — EU-NA rivalry and actually getting to experience that makes it so much more fun." Chanimal then added how ping did affect some series and games. However, the cross-regional matches were nonetheless very fun for the competitors and viewers alike.
