The second wing of the Vault of the Incarnates LFR from Dragonflight is open, so let’s take a look at what awaits players.
We are a few months removed from the launch of World of Warcraft Dragonflight, and with it comes Looking For Raid. The loot pinata that is the easy mode version of WoW raiding is a great way to learn the dungeon but also to get that ilvl up a bit. Well, have no fear as Wing 2 from the Vault of the Incarnates LFR in Dragonflight opens today, adding three more bosses. What's in store for newbies and PUGs alike? Let's look.
Wing 2 of Vault LFR opens and Terros awaits
"Primalists sought to pull Terros, an unyielding force of destruction, from the elemental plane. However, their ritual was interrupted. Trapped between two worlds, this hulking terror seeks to free himself and obliterate everything in his path."
The first boss in Wing 2 of Vault of the Incarnates LFR is the elemental Terros. While this big boi won't move around the arena the fight itself is a test of your tank's ability to keep track of targets. Terros' big move involves a massive earthquake that will do less damage the more players it hits. This means the raid will need to soak damage in order to protect the entire raid. Likewise, it wouldn't be a WoW raid without the need to not stand in stuff and to rotate around the room. Once Terros hits 100 energy the party will rotate to different areas of the room to avoid his Resonating Annihilation ability.
As for loot, keep an eye out for Terros' Resonating Core, a unique neckpiece with Haste.
Sennarth wants to go skating
"Sennarth, Kurog Grimtotem's most vicious creation; a massive arachnid infused with the unforgiving cold. Her singular purpose is to guard her brood of thousands, awaiting the day they'll hatch and enshroud Azeroth in a web of winter."
The second fight of Vault's LFR second wing in Dragonflight is all about mechanics. Sennarth, the Cold Breath is a movement-based encounter that sees the party attempting to climb a frozen spire. One problem: Sennarth is here to lay down ice, spawn spider babies, and pull opponents back down to the bottom. The party will fight its way up to the top of this spire only to then take on this massive ice spider. Hah. "Cool" loot. Get it? Hilarious.

Kurog loves him some altars
"Once a prized pupil of Magatha Grimtotem, this master of the primal elements is preparing to unleash his most devastating creations. If Kurog is not stopped, his entities of storm, fire, ice, and earth will wreak havoc across the whole of Azeroth."
The final and perhaps most difficult of the Wing 2 Vault of the Incarnates LFR, Kurog Grimtotem is a throwback. The Grimtotem clan is a name that's been in World of Warcraft since Vanilla WoW, with the Grimtotems being a constant thorn in the side of Horde players. And now Kurog is here to bring the four elements together like an evil Avatar....Uh, not the James Cameron version.
Kurog's abilities will change depending on what slice of his room he is standing near, with four altars positioned in a circle. The boss deals unavoidable damage to the party based on how long he's parked in any given area. This means the tanks will rotate Kurog through the four altars. Finally, this fight demands a tank team keeping track of how long Kurog is at an altar. Accordingly, don't expect an easy fight, but do expect to score some armor at the 382 ilvl for your trouble.
