WoW Patch Notes: 10.0.7 - March 23, 2023

It's time to return to the Forbidden Reach! The first major patch update of 2023 arrives with a new area, ilvl gear catch ups, new race/class combos, and more. We're going to hit the major highlights down below, but as always be sure to check out the full blue post from Blizzard.

Back into the Reach

It's time to learn further about the story of the dracthyr Evoker reawakening, as players can return to the Forbidden Reach now that Raszageth has been defeated. This zone boasts new content for experienced players, exploring the aftermath of the Primalists' meddling, which has caused chaos among the elements. Players will have the chance to encounter new bosses, complete objectives, find hidden treasure rooms with the Dragonscale Expedition, face more storms, and gain new loot to add to their collection.

The power of the monk

The new WoW patch notes includes a bonus for Monk players: New race combos! Monks can now choose the Worgen, Goblin, and Lightforged Draenei races as they pummel the elements into submission across the Dragon Isles.

Furbolgs-R-Us

Begin your journey to learning the Winterpelt furbolg language by accepting the quest "Academic Assistance" in the Adventure Guide after completing the Winterpelt Hollow and Rustpine Den quest chains in the Azure Span. Language progress can be viewed in the Spellbook.

WoW patch notes: Baine's bane

It's been awhile since we last saw the likes of Bane Bloodhoof around Azeroth. This time around we'll help the Tauren leader out in the Ohn’ahran Plains and the territory of the centaurs--a race well known by the Tauren. Will there be bloodshed? Let's hope not. Start this quest in Thaldrazus.

Ahoy, envoy!

Looking for a reputation boost? Visit the new envoys in the Forbidden Reach every day to represent a Dragon Isles Major Faction and earn a 10% reputation increase for the chosen faction. You may also receive quests from envoys for additional reputation and Elemental Overflow to purchase rewards at Envoy traders. These rewards include four new Dragonriding customizations, the Buckie battle pet, and the Noble Bruffalon mount.

Our shared heritage

The Orc and Human races have long been enemies in the World of Warcraft. Now you can grab the armor for each that represents their battles from the First War. Begin these quests by speaking to Master Matthias Shaw in Stormwind or Eitrigg in Orgrimmar or check out our guide here.
