Wuthering Waves has officially confirmed the first new character coming to the game with Version 2.5. Previously, Phrolova was briefly revealed among a few other Resonators. Now, we know for sure — from a mysterious and dangerous antagonist, this girl can make it to your WuWa 2.5 team.

Phrolova, the Fractsidus’ Overseer: Drip marketing
You sure know Phrolova if you played through the Main Quests of Wuthering Waves. The girl appears as an antagonist in a few Acts of Chapter I — she is an Overseer from the villain group Fractsidus, connected to Scar.
With the story continuation, Phrolova has become one of the main bosses in Chapter II. Thanks to her ability to manipulate Echoes and Tacet Discords, she caused some real troubles in Rinascita.
However, it turns out she is not that bad. Phrolova in Wuthering Waves plays the role of a bridge between life and death via her music.

Thanks to WuWa leaks, the community had some basic information about this new 5-star Resonator. It was confirmed via the official post.
- Phrolova is a Havoc character.
- Her weapon is Rectifier.
We can expect Echo manipulations from Phrolova in WuWa 2.5. She did that in the main story, and this power should be a great help during adventures in Huanglong, Black Shores, and Rinascita. Phrolova is most likely a DPS Resonator who can carry your team or be an additional damage dealer.
Phrolova among WuWa 2.5 Resonators
She is the first confirmed character for the upcoming version Wuthering Waves 2.5. Therefore, Phrolova’s banner should open this update.
The estimated release date is the end of July: right after the Convene of Lupa in version 2.4, which starts on July 3. The traditional Preview Program broadcast for Wuthering Waves 2.5 should announce the exact dates.
The developers revealed quite a few other characters right after the WuWa 2.4 livestream. They join the game as playable Resonators.
