Riot Games has revealed some more information about Jinx's appearance in 2XKO. This time, it's in the form of a gameplay trailer.

2XKO Jinx gameplay sneak peek

Jinx's gameplay trailer opens with scenes from the Arcane series. Moments later, she makes her 2XKO appearance and says, "You can try to run, but me? I run this place." Jinx then says "Bullets!" as she uses Pow-Pow, her machine gun, on Darius. She also dodges the latter champion's attacks.

Next, Ekko joins the fight. However, before he can dish out enough damage, Jinx uses her giant Dream Monkey cannon. There's a hilarious pause as Jinx tries to make this weapon work, and when it does, a giant bomb blasts off and explodes.

2XKO Jinx release date

According to Riot Games, Jinx is set to join 2XKO in 2025. Players who are interested in trying her out early can sign up for a chance to participate in her playtest.

Jinx joining the 2XKO roster is not new. In fact, at Evo Las Vegas 2024, Tom Cannon and Shaun Rivera shared some insights about this character. During the Alpha Lab: 2XKO panel, they said that player feedback for Ahri indicated she wasn’t fun to play. In response, the developers adjusted her mechanics to make her more accessible. Jinx also faced a similar situation. Jinx wasn't hitting as hard as the team had wanted and what Jinx mains would expect.

"Like with anything, our bar is high," Rivera said. "We had to take her back, we had to fix some stuff, and make it way, way better. And so she's in the game, but you're not gonna see her for a little bit, right? And that's 'cause —  I'm just asking —  let us cook, right? But hopefully, when you do see her, you'll be like, 'It's worth the wait.'"
