In a universe as big as the League of Legends, there are numerous stories producers could pick to make a show like Arcane. Let’s see some.
League of Legends (LoL) has more than 160 champions, all of them inserted in a huge world, lore, stories, cultures, morals, personalities, and much more. If Riot made a movie for each lore piece, we would probably have a universe with the double or triple the size of the Marvel universe. However, some stories could be amazing to make a show like Arcane.
Noxian Wars
One of the most intriguing stories of League of Legends is the building of Noxus as an empire. Ambessa's introduction in Arcane S2 was the first real sign of a Noxus theme for the next projects. The nation is often related to the imperialism of the Roman Empire. Noxus wants to control the remaining regions, wants to expand, to be bigger.
The first time, they fought with Demacia which Noxus lost and made them lose dominance for half a century. Instead of accepting their weakness, two centuries later, Noxus invaded Ionia (associated with East Asia) and Freljord (North mythology and Vikings). In the 2019 cinematic, we see the Noxian Invasion of Ionia.
The Aspects
Like Greek mythology, we have a lot of gods in League of Legends lore. One of the stories that could give a great show is The Aspects. They are stellar beings that lived beyond the physical and spiritual realms of Runeterra, in the Celestial Realm of the City of Gold and Silver. Normally, these beings do not interfere with the human realm. A long time ago, they shaped the destiny of the world. If you play League of Legends, Leona, Diana, Taric, Zoe, and Pantheon are aspects. Their story could be super cool to watch!

The Great Darkin War
The Great Darkin War is "an ancient war between the remaining God-Warriors, the Darkin who were corrupted by the preceding Void War, the remaining mortal populace of Runeterra, and the Aspects", as we can read from its description. Only this war could make a movie. Many events happen with characters we know from League - Azir, Aatrox, Zoe, Pantheon, Vladimir, and Varus. This YouTube channel explains all about The Great Darkin War in less than six minutes. Take a chance to see the details.
The Shadow Isles
"The Cursed Land" as we know has an amazing story behind it. Yes, I know - that story was already told in Ruination: A League of Legends Novel. However, we know how many great books become movies or shows. Why wouldn't this be able to come to our screens? "The Shadow Isles were once a beautiful realm, long since shattered by a magical cataclysm. Black Mist permanently shrouds the land, tainting and corrupting it with its malevolent sorcery", we can read from its description. In the Shadow Isles where we meet the Viego, Kalista, Hecarim, Lucian, Senna, and many other champions stories. They fought for much more than their lives, they fought for love.
Fall of Shurima
The foundation of Shurima (resembling Egyptian mythology) is one of the most interesting League of Legends stories. Not only the foundation but also the fall of one of the biggest empires of Runeterra. We see Xerath betraying the entire nation and the obliteration of Shurima's capital, the Sun Disc. We have a lost emperor, brothers fighting, betrayal, and so much drama. Shurima is such a beautiful land with breathtaking landscapes. It would make an amazing show.
It's impossible not to feel thrilled about how big is the League of Legends universe and its stories. We want to know more, we want more like Arcane, even better. There's so much potential in League lore to take advantage of. Let's see what other projects the Riot Games team has in mind.
