10K record a titanic performance in first ALGS Pro League since adding Gnaske

From zeros to heros, the addition of Gnaske delivered an instant impact for 10K with the roster picking up a much needed ALGS Pro League win. They saw off a very strong challenge from Zero Tenacity, using their experience to navigate a tense final circle on E-District and secure some desperately needed points.

This ALGS Pro League action came as things hot up ahead of the Regional Finals next Sunday. This weekend is the last chance for teams to secure their top 20 spot and keep their chances of playing at the ALGS Midseason Playoffs alive.

After a drama filled fortnight of roster swaps, the addition of Gnaske for GDolphin well and truly paid off for 10K, as they booked their spot in the Regional Finals. After a tough season for two of the regions longest serving veterans, today handed a big ALGS Midseason Playoff lifeline to Gnaske and K4shera.

Gnaske has had the short straw on more than one occasion, and K4shera has publicly stated that this could well be his last split. After GDolphin decided he wasn't compatible with the roster, the addition of Gnaske created the potential for a huge comeback story.

Todays performance keeps that chance alive. 10K will need to put in a really impressive ALGS Regional Finals in order to book their LAN spot - but they needed to secure being in the top 20! They qualified in style, finishing first place and comfortably earning enough points to be sure of their spot.

The combined experience of two of the regions best zone-IGLs saw them secure a huge amount of placement points, being involved in basically every end-game across the days action. Todays performance was so good that the 10K roster even secured the much fabled bonus point after winning three of the six matches.

If all that wasn't enough, 10K still have an extra Pro League gameday left. After todays much better than expected performance, 10k even have an outside chance of actually directly qualifying if they can put up a strong performance tomorrow.

10K now sit six points behind Dragons in eighth place, but also have six teams ahead of them who will not be playing tomorrow. Another strong performance could mean 10K go from looking to stay in the top 20, to starting the Regional Finals in the top eight.
