What are the current Apex Legends maps in rotation?

Apex Legends has six battle royale maps as of Season 25. However, the Season 25 map rotation only features three maps at once. This allows Respawn to keep things interesting by swapping maps in and out of the game between updates.

Respawn also lock maps away before major reworks and updates, so people are more excited to play a map once it has had a facelift.

This rotation has just changed with the Season 25 mid-season update, and will then be adjusted next when Apex Season 26 releases.

Season 25's Map Rotation - Battle Royale

Apex Season 22 was the last time we saw any changes to the maps avaliable in Apex Legends, with the release of E-District. There are no map changes in Apex Legends Season 25. The mid-season update took out Storm Point and Olympus, in favour of re-adding Broken Moon and Kings Canyon to the rotation. That means we aren't seeing the newest map, E-District, at all this season.

Apex Season 25 Mixtape Map Rotation

There is also several maps in rotation for the Mixtape playlist, which features both sections of Battle Royale maps and some old Arenas maps.

Mixtape Map Rotations:

  • May 6-June 23, 2025
    • Control: Lava Siphon, Thunderdome, Labs, Production Yard
    • Gun Run: Estates, Monument, Thunderdome, Skull Town
    • TDM: Thunderdome, Skull Town, Estates, Fragment
  • Mixtape (June 24-August 5, 2025)
    • TDM: Fragment, Party Crasher, Skull Town
    • Control: Caustic, Production Yard, Lava Siphon
    • Gun Run: Skull Town, Monument, The Core

The next change to the Apex Legends map rotation will not come until Season 26 releases.
