Apex Legends Season 20 Map Rotation

Apex Legends has five battle royale maps as of Season 20. However, the Season 20 map rotation only features three maps at once. This allows Respawn to keep things interesting by swapping maps in and out of the game between updates.

Respawn also lock maps away before major reworks and updates, so people are more excited to play a map once it has had a facelift.

Season 20 will once again shake up the Apex map rotation. All maps will be decorated for the 5 Year anniversary.

This Map rotation has been updated for the Season 20 mid season patch.

With the celebrations for the games five year anniversary underway, the maps in the Battle Royale rotation feature Blimps, balloons and more.

Storm Point was the last map to get changes in Season 19, and continues in the rotation having featured in the entirety of Season 19 as well.

Players will be relieved to see that Broken Moon and Kings Canyon, two unpopular ranked maps, are on the shelf. Storm Point and Worlds Edge are two of the most popular maps in Apex Legends and this Season 20 map rotation has been well received.

There will be a mid season patch (and a ranked split!). Expect to see changes to the Apex Legends map rotation then.

There is also several maps in rotation for the Mixtape playlist, which features both sections of Battle Royale maps and some old Arenas maps.

In Season 20 Respawn are introducing a new Mixtape map, Thunderdome. This will be available for all Mixtape modes.

The next change to the Apex Legends map rotation will not come until Season 21 releases.
