Apex Legends Mobile is officially set for a global release on the 17th of May.
When EA first revealed Apex Legends to the world at the 2019 SuperBowl, developers Respawn Entertainment promised that a mobile version is coming soon. Fast forward three years later and here we are. Apex Legends Mobile is officially set for a global launch on the 17th of May.
The official Apex Legends Twitter account confirmed this and we're all set for a new mobile BR game.
The game is already available to players that pre-registered for the limited launch earlier in February in select countries. This time, the launch is global and it'll be available to download on the Apple Store and the Google Play Store for everyone using a compatible mobile device.
Can your device run Apex Legends Mobile?
Most modern devices running updated Android and iOS platforms should be able to run the game comfortably. While we don't know if the global launch entails any change in system requirements, these are the requirements as of now.

- OpenGL 3.0 or higher
- 3GB Storage Space
- At Least 3GB RAM
- N/L/XL Screen Size
iOS Devices
- iPhone 6s or higher
- OS Version: 10 or newer
- CPU: A9
- 3GB Storage Space
- At least 2GB RAM
Based on feedback from the limited launch, it looks like most players running mid-range mobile devices are able to play the game smoothly.

What can we expect from Apex Legends Mobile?
According to the announcement cinematic, a new mobile-exclusive legend will be launched along with Apex Legends mobile. Details about this legend are unknown as of yet. Expect more such mobile-exclusive legends to be released and added to the game in the future.
There will also be a unique ranked system that also de-ranks players if they lose enough RP. There are speculations that Apex Legends Mobile might be used as a testbed for future content in PC and console versions of the game.
Does it have a registration process?
Just like with the limited launch, players can start playing on launch day after pre-registering on your app store. Either way, the game will go live on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store on the 17th of May.
