Sparrow is coming to Apex Legends. What abilities will he bring with him?
Last weeks Apex Legends Trailer revealed that Sparrow is coming to Apex Legends. We had previously been thrown off that the next Legend might have been called Artemis, but we know that the next Legend to join the Apex games will be Sparrow.
We now have official details about Sparrow, including confirmation about his abilities and what he will bring to the game. He looks set to be a really exciting addition to the game and should really shake things up.
We got this information alongside a range of other information about Apex Legends Season 25.
Apex Season 25:
Sparrow is unlocked for all Apex Legends players for the first two weeks of the season. Here's what to expect from him:

Sparrow Apex Legends abilities
Sparrows confirmed abilities are as follows:
- Passive: The ability to double jump and wall run, as well as a boost when using the Boceck
- Tactical: A Tracker Dart, that reveals enemies within its line of sight. These Darts also activate Survey Beacons from afar.
- Ultimate: A large arrow that anchors where it lands, charges, and then shocks anyone within its range. This damages and slows opponents.
Sparrow Legend Upgrades
Sparrows Legend Upgrades offer some extra aggression and movement potential. Hunt Target and Life Siphon would allow Sparrow to act almost as a skirmisher in Apex Legends matches. Locating enemies, closing the gap and automatically healing as his Ultimate damages opponents.
These abilities and Upgrades are quite different to leaks that circulated about the Legend. Sparrow seems really focused on gathering information and being nimble as he does so. From our Apex Legends Season 25 playtesting, Sparrows double jump is a great way to position in a fight and both of his Tactical and Ultimate abilities are really useful in the game.
We haven't seen a new Legend added to Apex in a few seasons, so this is exciting. Legend production was slowed down a while ago, to allow more focus on rebalancing existing Legends and reworking those that aren't popular.
Usually, Legends release pretty strong so expect to be able to have some fun with Sparrow and his abilities when Apex Legends Season 25 releases on May 6.
