After falling short in Tour 1 DPC, Old G returns for vengeance. The team had a roster shift ahead of the season with Johan "N0tail" Sundstein stepping back from the competitive scene. Arif "MSS" Anwar, who was Old G's pos 4, also departed the team to join WildCard Gaming. For the second season of the year, the former Team Secret offlaner, Resolut1on, and former analyst of T1, Kitrak, join Old G and fill in the vacant spots.
Here is Old G's complete roster for Tour 2 DPC:
- Volodymyr "Noone" Minenko
- Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen
- Roman "Resolut1on" Fomynok
- Sébastien "Ceb" Debs
- Kartik "Kitrak" Rathi
Old G joined the first Open Qualifier for Tour 2 DPC and defeated KZ Team, Plasma1337x, and Betrayed. They grabbed a 2-0 win for all series and convincingly grabbed a slot in the Closed Qualifier, alongside Betrayed. Both teams join Team Bald Reborn, the renowned stack under streamer, Gorgc, in the CQ.
The Closed Qualifier will be stacked with more teams from the rest of the Open Qualifiers. The second OQ occurs on March 15-16 and the third OQ occurs on March 17-18. After the OQs conclude, the winners from each round will clash in the Closed Qualifier which takes place on March 19-22.
