A new season has rushed into the game.
CoD Mobile Season 3 is almost here. The upcoming season, called Rush, will bring a lot of new features to the game including a weapon, scorestreak, map, events, and more.
CoD Mobile Season 3 is set to officially begin on March 29 at 5:00 p.m. PT. The content for the new season, however, should be available a bit before. Just like all seasons in the game, it will last for about a month until the end of April.
New weapon and scorestreak coming with the CoD Mobile Season 3 Battle Pass
A new season means a new Battle Pass. This time, the BP will reward players with two new items, a weapon, and a scorestreak.
The new scorestreak is the Wheelson, which can be unlocked by reaching tier 14 in the Battle Pass. Originally found in the Modern Warfare series, the remote-controlled drone is now headed to mobile. You can control the drone to drive around the map and take down enemies with the attached weapon.
The new weapon, on the other hand, is the HDR Sniper Rifle which will be unlocked in tier 21 of the BP. It’s a bolt-action sniper rifle which is also found in Modern Warfare. The rifle excels at long range and will be a good pick on the bigger maps of the game.
CoD Mobile Season 3 is bringing a new and fun map
Going with the season’s theme, the new map is called Rush, which is a paintball facility. The medium-sized map contains inflatable barriers, an inner and outer field, a gift shop, and also a parking lot.
Other new features in the update
- New attachment: The CR-56 is getting a new signature attachment, the GRD-11. It will be available a bit later into the season through a challenge.
- Chromatic Feast-themed event: The themed event for CoD Mobile season 3 comes in the form of a fun mode. Players have to earn colorful bullets by completing challenges around the map. These bullets can then be used to capture control points around the map. The mode allows players to earn a slew of rewards including a skin, a calling card, and more.
- Easter celebrations: Easter 2023 is right around the and CoD Mobile is also marking the festival. Activision has added Easter Eggs in the BR map which players have to find and blast for rewards.
- Map training: The update also introduces a new way for players to train individual ranked multiplayer maps. Players can select any map to train in and customize it with different bots, abilities, ammunition, and test Gunsmith loadouts.
