The 2024 ALGS Split 1 Playoffs take place at the Galen Centre, Los Angeles, May 2-5. 40 teams from all over the world are battling for a share of the $1,000,000 prize pool. Teams will also earn 'Playoff Points' that will qualify them for the ALGS Championship later in the year.

Fortnite's annual Star Wars event has begun, and there is plenty of content to keep players busy. From LEGO Fortnite to Battle Royale, this update has something for everyone, including free in-game items. A recent report from various Fortnite leakers has confirmed that Star Wars Twitch Drops will be available during this event.

Leaker Wenso shared on Twitter that new Fortnite x Jujutsu Kaisen skins are reportedly on the way. According to them, an official announcement should be coming later this month.



This heavily speculated collaboration would mark the second time Jujutsu Kaisen has been featured in Fortnite. The skins will supposedly arrive alongside another JJK Cup.



What to expect from Jujutsu Kaisen x Fortnite



An educated guess as to what this collaboration might entail can be made by looking back at previous examples. Fortnite has had four successful collaborations with other anime series: Naruto, Dragon Ball, My Hero Academia, and Attack on Titan.

However, even more relevant to the upcoming Fortnite x Jujutsu Kaisen skins is the previous collaboration with JJK. It featured the Break the Curse! quests and cosmetic rewards, Cursed Techniques, the Jujutsu Kaisen Cup, and four brand-new character skins.

The Break the Curse! quests can be thought of as a mini Battle Pass with both premium and free reward tracks. Completing objectives awarded players with JJK-themed cosmetics such as sprays, emoticons, and more.



Cursed Techniques added two of the anime characters' signature moves as in-game abilities. Players could use these techniques to take out their fellow competitors in the Jujutsu Kaisen Cup.



Lastly, the original collaboration introduced Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, Satoru Gojo, and Yuji Itadori as playable character skins.

We can reasonably expect this edition of Fortnite's Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration to follow in its predecessor's footsteps. An event with cosmetic rewards, in-game abilities, and a Jujutsu Kaisen Cup is extremely likely.

It really is a win-and-your-in situation for these teams. For G2 it is a bit less complicated than it is for LOUD. G2 just needs to put together 14 total rounds in the series to push Sentinels from contention and take the playoff spot.






LOUD has to get a victory in this one to make the mid-season tournament. If they don't, then Evil Geniuses is looking at another miracle run like the team did in 2023. This one has a lot more going behind it than meets the eye.






Either one team completely spoils Stage 1 for the other, or there is a bit of luck on their sides. We could easily see both teams advance after G2 Esports vs LOUD, but it just depends on how close of a series they find themselves in.

This will allow you to make better decisions on what direction to take based on items and help you have better combat strength throughout the entirety of the game. </p>

<p>Piltover is being reworked heavily. Currently, hitting 3 piltover in the early game usually means sacking Stages 2 and 3 and playing for Zeri carry with T-Hex as an extra damage/tank unit. The balance team wants to change the trait to be more of an economy/loot trait rather than introducing another unit to the team. T-Hex power levels are now significantly reduced and cannot be sold. Instead, accruing losses and then winning will automatically drop loot according to the table in the above image.  </p>



<h2 id="h-augment-changes-in-patch-13-15">Augment changes in patch 13.15</h2>

<p>The most notable augment changes for patch 13.15 are nerfs to Aurelion Sol's 4-2 gold and prismatic augments. This will make it tougher to reach level 9 when running Aurelion Sol. Additionally, Ornn's 3-2 silver augment is receiving a slight gold nerf. Medium-end shopping will no longer feature in the game as it is too weak as a silver but too strong as a gold augment. </p>

<p>Two Healthy will be nerfed significantly in that copies of 2-cost units will not count towards the health bonus. Additionally, the health bonus has also been reduced. The update also reduces Ravenous Hunter's cap on stacks as well, a much-needed nerf to one of the strongest "hero augments" in the game. </p>



<h2 id="h-unit-changes-in-tft-patch-13-15">Unit changes in TFT patch 13.15</h2>



<h3 id="h-1-cost-units">1-cost units</h3>

<p>Kayle is quite weak in the early game, and the balance team wanted to make her more of a playable unit before reaching later breakpoints. Samira and Cassiopeia will have much faster casts, which should make them much stronger early-game carries. </p>

<p>Sett and Soraka are too reliable as early-game units. Teemo and Swain are being buffed rather significantly which could bring rise to a new Yordle reroll composition in the meta. </p>



<h3 id="h-3-cost-units">3-cost units</h3>

<p>A few of the 3-cost units are receiving some nice buffs, but the highlight of changes to 3-costs goes to Akshan. He has dominated the past two patches and so 5 base AD is being removed to bring him down a notch in power. </p>



<h3 id="h-4-cost-units">4-cost units</h3>

<p>Azir and Kai'sa receive small buffs in the upcoming patch, increasing the viability of 4-cost carries. Gwen's targeting will be adjusted to attack multiple targets, supposedly the biggest buff of the patch. Time will tell if it will be a balanced state of 4-cost carries in the meta. </p>



<h3 id="h-5-cost-units">5-cost units</h3>

<p>As mentioned previously, Ahri's power is being reduced as she is quite the oppressive legendary unit in the current meta. Most of the Ryze variations are receiving various buffs and nerfs, including Freljord Ryze. If you want all the details, be sure to check out the full patch notes below. </p>

<p>Most item changes for the patch are significant buffs and nerfs to Shimmerscale and Ornn items. The most notable change is Eternal Winter's 100HP nerf. Additionally, Morellonomicon will now proc its burn on physical damage spells, eliminating the reliance on magic and true damage. </p>
