Tarik, the “Content King” of Valorant has signed on with Sentinels ahead of the start of Valorant Champions 2022.
It's a big day for Sentinels fans as the organization have announced the signing of former CS:GO player and Twitch streamer Tarik "Tarik" Celik to their ranks. The announcement came via Sentinels' Twitter page at around 5pm on Tuesday, August 30.
"I think me and Sentinels have a lot in common. We are both very memey, which is something that I love and resonates with my brand a lot. They are also blunt and they say things how they are, and I have been vocal and critical about a lot of things in the community. So I think that us together is going to be very interesting."

The highly popular Valorant content creator, is the latest high profile streamer to have joined Sentinels this year; following the acquisition of Mike "Shroud" Grzesiek to the Valorant roster in July, 2022. Since retiring from CS:GO, Tarik has been a main stay within the Valorant community. At the time of writing this, Tarik currently boasts around 2.2 million followers on Twitch. And draws an average viewership crowd of around 34,000 viewers according to StreamsCharts.
When he isn't streaming his ranked games, Tarik also hosts watch parties for the VCT, where he routinely analyzes the pro player's plays and strategies. In fact he sometimes manages to surpass the viewership count of the official VCT streams. And given that he was already set to be one of the official third-party hosts for Valorant Champions 2022, this seems like a very well-timed announcement on the part of Sentinels.
Tarik and Sentinels "have a lot in common"
With this acquisition Sentinels now have three of the biggest names in Valorant currently on their payrol. That being Shroud, star Valorant pro player Tyson "TenZ" Ngo ,and now the "Content King" of Valorant, Tarik. It is clear to see that Sentinels are going about establishing a dynasty within the Valorant Esports community and they aren't showing any signs of stopping.
In a separate video released alongside the initial announcement post, Tarik talked about his reasons for joining Sentinels in particular and what he is looking forward to most about being a part of the organization.
He also stated that while he is looking forward to interacting with the Sentinels Valorant team more often, that he will not have any say on their roster. Though that will not stop him from trying to "fire them up as much as he can" going forward into franchising.
