Inside Out 2: Release date, cast, trailer

Inside Out 2 will follow on from the very successful Inside Out that released in 2015.

The original Inside Out was one of the top performing films that year. The film garnered widespread acclaim for its inventive concept and emotional depth. It resonated with audiences worldwide, earning over $858 million globally.

The film's clever exploration of human emotions, coupled with its heartwarming narrative, contributed to its box office triumph. "Inside Out" not only became one of the highest-grossing animated films of its time but also left an enduring impact, showcasing Pixar's ability to create universally appealing and emotionally resonant storytelling.

Inside Out won several awards, including an Oscar, a Golden Globe and a Bafta.

Now, Disney and Pixar are revisiting Riley and her emotions. The Inside Out 2 trailer reveals that Riley is discovering a new emotion... Anxiety.

Inside Out 2 will show Riley continue to grow up. Like any teenager, she will battle all new emotions including Anxiety. Let's be honest, that emotion is a pretty standard part of growing up!

Details are thin on the ground for the Plot of Inside Out 2, but Disney and Pixar say that: "Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust have been running a successful operation by all accounts. However, when Anxiety shows up, they aren't sure how to feel."

Inside Out 2 is scheduled to release on June 14, 2024 in Cinemas worldwide. A release date for Disney+ is not yet confirmed. However, films usually join Disney's streaming service a couple of months after their initial release in theatres.
