Can you prestige in CoD MW3?
At the time of writing, Call of Duty MW3 doesn’t include the ability to prestige. The game was released without prestige as an option, and as a result the maximum level you can currently reach is 55.
However, it is expected and heavily implied that you will be able to prestige after the release of Season 1 of CoD MW3 releases. Unfortunately, there’s currently no set date for the release, but it is expected to be unveiled in early December.

How to prestige in MW3
Once prestige is implemented, likely after the release of Season 1, you’ll be able to prestige simply by reaching level 55 and selecting the option to prestige. This will drop your level back down to level one, and you’ll receive a crest on your profile indicating the number of times you’ve prestige. It’s unknown if there will be a cap on the number of times you can prestige, or whether it will happen.

Prestige-ing resets your level to one and resets all your weapons and challenges. It’s a way to test your skills and see if you’re able to once again level. Hitting prestige multiple times is a sign that you’re a master of the game, and something you can show off to your friends and rivals!
