Hearthstone TITANS: How Titan minions work in the game

Here’s how the Titan minions work in Hearthstone. This guide includes examples and screenshots.

The Hearthstone TITANS expansion features the debut of 11 legendary class cards. These Titans promise great power and value if played right. Read on for our step-by-step guide on how exactly these Titan class legendaries work in Hearthstone.

Hearthstone Legendary Titan cards

Each class in Hearthstone gets a Titan legendary. Equipped with the Titan keyword, these minions have a passive ability alongside three more abilities. Each turn, the player can activate one of these three abilities.

You cannot use an ability again after activating it. Once all three abilities are used up, the Titan will be able to attack normally.

A couple of Titan minions in Hearthstone are Norgannon and Eonar, the Life-Binder. While Norgannon is for Mage players, Eonar, the Life-Binder is specific to the Druid class.

How do Titan minions work in Hearthstone?

Let's take a look at Eonar, the Life-Binder. This is a 10 mana 5/7 legendary with a passive that allows it to summon a 5/5 Ancient with Taunt after the use of an ability. You can activate the abilities Spontaneous Growth, Bountiful Harvest, and Flourish.

Here are the descriptions for these:

  • Eonar, the Life-Binder
    • Spontaneous Growth: Draw cards until your hand is full.
    • Bountiful Harvest: Restore your hero to full health.
    • Flourish: Refresh your mana crystals.

After playing Eonar, the Life-Binder on the board, you can activate one of its abilities. Once you activate an ability, the blue orb located right below the card disappears to indicate that you can't use the ability again.

In the example below, the Titan's passive is activated alongside Spontaneous Growth. The passive first adds the 5/5 Ancient with Taunt on the board before the Spontaneous Growth card draw.

You can't use Spontaneous Growth again after activating it. The screenshot below shows this with some blue chains.

Once Spontaneous Growth, Bountiful Harvest, and Flourish are all used up, the three blue orbs below the Titan disappear. The Titan will now be able to attack normally.
